St. Norbert is a Christian Minority School for both boys and girls. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, with Affiliation no.1030291. It is fully self-financed and the medium of instruction here is English. It is Senior Secondary School, classes from Nursery to Std. XII. The management has added a hostel facility for girls belonging to the socially and economically weaker sections of the society.
- Historical Overview
St. Norbert School was established on 1 July 2001, with a solemn inauguration ceremony presided over by Bishop George Anathil, SVD, the Bishop of Indore. In the same year, the Catholic diocese of Indore celebrated its Golden Jubilee. Thus, the beginning of St. Norbert School is a land mark in the history of the diocese. In order to meet the consistent request of the Catholic Community, the Bishop decided to setup this school for the children of the locality.
Initially the classes were conducted in the Parish Hall with 39 students and a teacher. Later it was shifted to the new school building which was constructed under the supervision of the Diocesan office. The new building was inaugurated on 1 December 2001. In the year 2007, the school was affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. Since its inception, St. Norbert is being ably administered by the Congregation of Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.
- Priorities
St. Norbert School aims at an integrated approach to education through academic excellence, combined with extra-curricular activities, upholding spiritual and human values. Placing the integral development of personality of the students as the prime goal, we hope to produce healthy citizens. The school has introduced yoga, sports, dance, music, band, aerobics, karate, scouts, skating, chess, craft and gymnastic as part of its curriculum.

St. Norbert School is situated at Rangwasa, Indore close to the well-known Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), on the road leading to Rau.

In the Coat of Arm, the light emanating from the lamp symbolizes the dispelling of the darkness of illiteracy and ignorance as well as imparting of knowledge with spiritual and human values. The globe in the monogram represents our mission to spread this light of knowledge all over the world.
